Christmas in Houston!

Last weekend, we all headed down I-45 to visit my brother Em and his wife Jennifer at their house in Tomball, just outside of Houston. It was a great time of fun with the Jones clan- mom and dad, Em, Jennifer, my sister Evie and her husband Brent, my nephew Chandler, and the Montgomery crew. And, of course, there were HORSES! All day Friday and Saturday Emma kept on repeating, "Uncle Em's house? I go Uncle Em's house. Want go Uncle Em's house." Which is very cute the oh..first 100 times or so and then it gets old. Quick. Especially in a car on the drive down there. :)

Here are some pics from our time together!

Sweet Emma, so excited to be at Uncle Em's house and outside (70 degrees in the middle of December...gotta love Houston)

Uncle Em loves his horses! :) Or showing Emma that the horses were sweet.

First introducing Emma to Foxy

Helping Aunt Evie videotape the action:

The "godfather" keeping watch over his clan and the activities....
...while holding a sippy cup.
The godfather has been made aware of the green sippy cup and lets his true feelings show.

Swinging with Aunt Jennifer and Nana/Mimi (she can't decide right now what to call mom)

Evie, Emma, and Em....who jumped into the picture at the last minute. Clearly Emma is thinking...who exactly is this character????

Sweet Emma enjoying her afternoon snack while watching all of the games going on!

After a FABULOUS dinner prepared by Jennifer, we exchanged presents...which was a highlight for Emma, of course! One of her presents was a tea set, so of course, we all had to have a tea party...even Grandad got in on the serving!

Emma and Aunt Jennifer drinking "Bapple" juice.

We had a wonderful time!!!

It is so fun to see a toddler interacting with animals, especially suburban-bred ones like ours. :) What a lovely time...
